These holiday rentals have been driving Instagram users to tap the ‘like’ button in their droves.
And it’s no wonder.
Ranging from dreamy seaside homes to chic mountain retreats, they were the 10 most-liked properties on Airbnb’s Instagram page in 2022, the rental platform has revealed.
The most popular Airbnb, a breathtaking bolthole in the Dominican Republic, earned more than 20,000 likes, with social media users charmed by the epic mountain views that the dwelling opens up to.
Two U.S Airbnbs have made it into the top 10 – a house perched on California’s rugged Big Sur coast and a picturesque cabin nestled in New York’s Hudson Valley. Other knockout rentals on the list include a charming English cottage, a ‘bargain’ abode in the Spanish countryside, and a glass hut hidden in a Brazilian forest.
Taking the cost of the rentals into account, Airbnb says: ‘With inflation and a rising cost of living, affordability is top of mind for many as they dreamily scroll from post to post – so it’s no surprise that some of the more popular posts on Airbnb’s Instagram for 2022 include some great value stays.’ Scroll down for the full list, presented here in reverse order…
10. THE GRANARY AT COES VINEYARD (ROTHERFIELD, SUSSEX): Tenth on the list is this ‘delightful’ one-bedroomed cottage, which lies in the heart of the ‘picturesque’ Coes Estate. Likes – 4,449
