We’ve been loving the visual content coming from Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s lavish Italian wedding, which took place in Portofino on Sunday. The couple’s celeb friends came together to celebrate the big day, and while their outfits were certainly eye-catching, we think their hair and makeup looks were the true highlights of the evening.
It seems everyone was given the same “gothic romance” brief, with red lips, undone updos and smoky makeup featuring heavily on the wedding agenda. Though all of Kourt’s nearest and dearest nailed the brief, there were some standout looks from the night that social media is going mad for.

Kourtney Kardashian

The bride was, of course, the main focus of attention. Keeping true to her style, and the theme of her two previous non-wedding weddings, Kourt opted for a 60s-style bouffant updo – and it screamed old school Italian elegance. Considering her veil was so elaborate, a bun was probably also the only logical choice of hairdo.
The bride also chose not to stray from her signature makeup, which featured a neutral lip, a minimal base and smoky eyeliner. Perfection.
Kim Kardashian

Kim styled her new platinum tresses up into an undone updo, which gave her look a very “90s Pamela Anderson” vibe. Combine that with a gothic lace dress, chunky jewellery and plenty of smokey charcoal eye makeup, Kim very nearly pulled focus from her sister Kourtney.
Twitter has been loving Kim’s look, with plenty of people drawing comparisons between Kim’s glam and other famous fictional characters…
“Why is Kim’s hair giving Targaryen [Game of Thrones]?” asked one Twitter user, while a second said: “Kim reminds me of Morticia, hence the blonde hair.”
Khloé Kardashian

Khloé was one of the only Kardashian/Jenner sisters who chose to wear her hair down in waves. She didn’t pass up on drama though, getting her fashion-forward fix from an ornate gold leaf headdress. We pity the person sitting behind her during the nuptials.
Khloé did, however, align with her sister when it came to makeup. Khloé opted for a similar style of smoky makeup, giving her look some extra definition with chunky liquid eyeliner flicks.
Penelope Disick

Kourtney’s eldest daughter Penelope may only be nine, but her young age didn’t stop her from having one of the most talked about looks of the night. Penelope swapped her usual brunette hair for a striking red colour, matching perfectly with the red roses on her dress.
Since the bridesmaids all held bouquets of red roses, we wonder if Penelope’s hair colour was perfectly pre-planned by Kourt, or if the nine year old is proving she’s a beauty prodigy in the making (much like her aunt Kylie).
Megan Fox

We can always count on Megan Fox to pull out a good beauty look. The actress didn’t disappoint yesterday, pairing her Zuhair Murad gothic-glam dress with a bold, blood-red lipstick. Megan also chose to wear her dark hair down in subtle waves, and clearly turned to extensions to add several inches of length.
Megan’s beau Machine Gun Kelly turned up with pastel pink hair, which wasn’t quite on brief but was punchy nonetheless.
