If there’s one thing we love more than lipstick, it’s lipstick that helps causes and organisations close to our heart.
On 29 July, to celebrate National Lipstick Day, ASOS has teamed up with Look Good Feel Better to donate 100 percent of profits from lipsticks sold on ASOS.com.
Look Good Feel Better is a UK-based organisation with the aim of “boosting the physical and emotional wellbeing of people living with cancer.” The charity currently provides online workshops covering skin care, makeup, grooming, hair loss, hair care and wig advice, and nail care.
“At [Look Good Feel Better’s] skincare and makeup workshops for cancer patients, they see first-hand the positive impact lipstick can have on helping finish a person’s look and enabling them to face cancer with confidence,” the charity said via press release. “They believe everyone has the right to feel confident in themselves and their appearance under any circumstance, which is why they have teamed up with leading beauty retailers, Avon UK and ASOS.com to bring this exciting campaign to life.”
In addition to buying lipsticks, customers will also be able to make individual donations through a dedicated campaign page on the charity’s website.
