If you’ve got a few minutes to spare and don’t mind a bit of elbow grease, you could get the whole process over and done with straight away by scrubbing any tarnished areas with a cloth.
Experts recommend using toothbrushes to get into any smaller crevices, but make sure you throw it away afterwards!
However, if you’d rather let it do the work itself whilst you carry on with your day, slather on plenty of the tomato sauce (maybe use cheaper, own-brand stuff as you’ll use a fair amount) and leave it on for a few hours.
