Zara McDermott has been seen breaking down in tears as she was told Sam Thompson was “out” of their romance.
The 23 year old former Love Island star had sent Sam, 28, a letter via mutual friend Reza Amiri-Garroussi in latest Made in Chelsea scenes, which aired on Monday 2 November.
Zara’s handwritten note read: “Dear Sam, Since you have been away I have been doing a lot of reflecting on a lot of things. I’ve reflected on my life before I met you, on our life together and a lot on the kind of life I want to live.
“Before I continue with some of the things I need to say, I just want to tell you again I am so sorry with my whole entire heart for what I did. I am so deeply ashamed of my actions and the way I have hurt you. I was selfish, immature and stupid. There is no excuse.

“I know how hard it is to believe that someone who loves you could do what I did. But believe me when I say. I love you, you have my whole heart and more.”
Sam, who recently mocked their split with a video, admitted he was turn between his head and heart after reading the note, leaving viewers wondering if he was going to take Zara back following the revelation she had cheated on him.
However, it was soon revealed that the blond had made up his mind and decided he was “out”.
Sam decided it was too tough to break the news to Zara himself, so recruited Reza and girlfriend Ruby Adler to tell her instead.
In the emotional scene, the trio meet in a Chelsea eatery to discuss Zara’s love life.
As she was told Sam is “completely out” of the relationship, she broke down in tears and shares her upset at his unwillingness to give their romance another try following her infidelity.
Reza explained: “I think he’s finding it really hard – as are you.”
Zara said through tears: “Why can’t he tell me this? Why can’t he just speak to me?”
Reza replied: “Because seeing you upset upsets him and I think it draws him in emotionally and that’s a vicinity that he doesn’t want to be in right now.”
Ruby then added: “It’s horrible to see anyone you love so upset but we have to honest with you in this conversation as uncomfortable as it is.
“It wouldn’t be fair, otherwise, to say it’s gonna be fine if in Sam’s mind it’s clearly…”
Zara added: “Yeah, it’s just hard.” Zara and Sam split earlier this year after it was reported she cheated on him with music producer Brahim Fouradi during her time on The X Factor: Celebrity.
But, former Love Island stunner Zara has continued to try and win Sam back with heartfelt messages and tributes on Instagram.
As she posted a photo of her and Sam locking lips on Instagram over the weekend she shared a quote in the caption which read: “I choose you. And I’ll choose you over and over. Without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat. I’ll keep choosing you.”
