The Malone family have earned their spot in the nation’s hearts thanks to their regular appearance on Gogglebox, but when they’re not filming they do have jobs in the real world.
Viewers are often left shocked when they learn of what the stars of the Channel 4 series do for a living when the cameras are not rolling.
Last year Tom Malone Sr spoke about his son being a professional dancer, joking that he didn’t know how he’d been so successful when his parents were so lacking in the rhythm department.

The Malone clan, consisting of mum Julie, dad Tom Senior and their children Tom Junior and Shaun, often have a delicious selection of snacks in front of them too, which they delve into whilst watching TV.
When he’s not sitting with his family watching the best bits of the weeks telly, Tom Junior works as a freelance model and street dance choreographer.
The 26 year old reality TV star, who is dating stunning Leeds-based model Bryony Briscoe, is trained in locking and breaking, ballet and tap.
The choreographer, who has worked with he likes of Rita Ora and the Black Eyed Peas, has moved back into his parents in Manchester for lockdown two so they can still film Gogglebox.
His brother Shaun has a sports career, coaching Manchester United’s Under-16s Ability Counts football team and explained that they have two other siblings who have never appeared.
“When the show approached us, it was just me, Tom, mum and dad who were living together. Vanessa was at university and Lee was off living in his house… It wouldn’t have made sense for them to be on the show,” he told the Metro.
Shaun recently welcomed his first child, names Louis, with girlfriend back in July after he had been isolating with her during the first lockdown, which meant he wasn’t in the most recent series.
Meanwhile, their mum Julie is a receptionist when she’s not filming and dad Tom Senior is a lorry driver.
The salary the families on Gogglebox earn vary according to different sources, but the Sun states that they are given a monthly family allowance of £1,500.
The money is split accordingly at their own discretion, and each family are expected to commit to 12 hours of filming a week across two six-hour shifts.
