Myleene Klass has opened up on how her young daughters teach music lessons in order to earn their pocket money.
Speaking exclusively to OK! the star revealed that her daughters Ava, 13, and nine-year-old Hero have to work so that they can “know what the value of money is.”
The former Hear’Say singer, 42, started teaching music lessons, alongside her kids, online during the first lockdown and it went on to be wildly successful, especially while schools were shut.

Speaking of her eldest daughter Ava, Myleene said: “She’s 13 but she has been teaching since she was 12. It’s brilliant, thats how she gets her pocket money, she has to work for it.
“It’s really important that she knows she has to do that. They have to know what the value of money is and how hard you have to work to be able to achieve.”
Classically trained Myleene, who is a presenter for Smooth Radio, also explained that the girls had been using the time to work on their own musical ability, as well as helping others.
She said: ”The music lessons, the girls joined in, I couldn’t have done it without them, and they’ve taken all their music exams in lockdown which is phenomenal.
“Ava passed her Grade 8 in lockdown, what are the chances!? Like Grade 8 couldn’t be hard enough and she went and did it in lockdown.
“So I had to put stickers outside the house saying ‘do not ring the doorbell, exam in process.’
“It was all very official. What an amazing achievement, and I set up an online schooling system and taught children from all around the world, it became like a global part of the curriculum which was incredible.”
Myleene, who is also mum to baby son Apollo, has been working a lot from home this year, in order to adapt to the coronavirus restrictions, and the girls have also helped with that.
She explained: “I have a studio from home, that’s it now.
“I’ve got everything we need here, so it’s unbelievable it’s like Spielberg should come and film here. I’ve got everything you could possibly need.”
She then continued: “I’ve done absolutely everything from home since March, even my children know how to rig up a studio…
“It’s a pretty niche, pretty professional set up with my children working as the engineers.”
