Ruthie Henshall has made quite the entrance to the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp this week after joining the show alongside Russell Watson as a late arrival.
Ruthie, whose real name is actually Valentine Ruth Henshall, has chosen the moniker Ruthie as her stage name.
The 53 year old is a musical theatre legend, having made her debut in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats back in 1987.
On Friday’s episode of the show, Ruthie touched on her romance with the Queen’s son, Prince Edward, candidly alleging they had sex in Buckingham Palace.
So who are Ruthie’s former flames? We take a look…
Ruthie was previously married to 50 year old Canadian actor and musician Tim Howar.
Tim is best known for appearing in the West End and on Broadway in productions such as Rent, Rock of Ages and Les Misérables.
The pair are no longer together, with Tim recently taking to Twitter to clarify their former relationship after a blunder on the I’m A Celebrity app quiz labeled him as her husband still.
He later insisted he is supporting Ruthie on the show, writing: “Just to clarify I am all for #teamruthie ! She is a wonderful Mom and friend. @imacelebrity.”
Ruthie and Tim had two daughters together from their marriage, Lily and Dolly.
Who else has Ruthie dated?
Ruthie dated Prince Edward, the son of the Queen, for two years “solidly” as well as on and off for five years.
Speaking of their romance on Desert Island Discs, the star said: “I think I had hopes that we could walk on in our relationship but really and truthfully I think I was very aware that I wouldn’t be able to do what I do for a living if I’d have stayed with him.
“If you think about it I would be in the theatre (doing) eight shows a week, they’d have to check out the theatre every night, check everyone’s bags, it would be just impossible, and there was nothing – at that stage – that was more important than what I did.”
Before her marriage to Tim, Ruthie was also engaged to actor John Gordon Sinclair.
