Emmerdale star Mark Charnock has played Marlon Dingle on the hit soap since 1996.
After a lengthy lockdown the star was excited to go back to filming in the Dales back in June.
Upon his return he was interviewed on Good Morning Britain, where he said: “It’s been thrilling to be back. We have two-metre spots on the floor of the studios.

“We can only walk around in one direction. We feel very safe at the studios. There is a two-metre stick lurking off set.”
But one look at the 52 year old’s cosy home and you will be able to tell that it would not have been a bad place to have been stuck during his break from filming.
Let’s take a look inside…
The living room in Mark’s home has olive green walls, which is a very warming colour.
There is also a wooden framed mirror on the wall, and as we can see from the snap, the star does not hold back when it comes to Christmas decorations.
Although the actor is somewhat private when it comes to his personal life on social media, we do know he shares the home with his adorable dog Freddie, who is less camera shy…
From the pictures Mark has posted of his kitchen we can see that he has stone slab floors, and wooden worktops.
Adding to the dreamy and cosy vibe of the home, we can see that the actor even makes his own fresh bed.
Then again, this was a popular pursuit of the entire nation during the lockdown.
The kitchen cabinets are painted a cream colour, as are the walls and on the wall is a round clock. The star is obviously a fan of more understated decor.
Perhaps our favourite part of Mark’s home is his gorgeous garden, and it seems to be his too.
The star recently shared a picture of his vegetable patch, and it looked so idyllic.
He captioned it: “My little gang, doing their stuff.”
The actor also has a little table outside for enjoying his meals, and no doubt some of his own produce!
