Christmas is just two months away and whether you are usually filled with festive fever or you’re just a groaning grinch, you’ve got to concede that with the year we’re all having, it is nice to have something to look forward to.
The best way to count down to the Christmas period is of course by opening a little cardboard door daily and collecting a little treat.

Typically advent calendars are filled with chocolate, but in recent years the concept has extended to all manner of items and themes, and a new one we really like the sound of is made by Doritos.
Yep, the delicious crisp company are launching their first ever advent calendar, and you can order it exclusively from Amazon for just £19.99.
You can preorder the Doritos Advent Calendar on Amazon, and it will be released on 14 November.
But you should probably be quick because we don’t anticipate that the offer will be around for long.
Behind each door is a full-sized 40g packet of Doritos, including eight Cool Original packs, eight Tangy Cheese packs and nine packs of Chilli Heatwave.
Perfect for your daily lunchtime snack!
However, if you would prefer an advent calendar that is a bit ‘hotter’ than Chilli Heatwave, then Boots are selling a BDSM-themed advent calendar.
The adventurous advent calendar has 25 items inside it which include nipple clamps, restraints, vibrators, and massage toys.
The calendar gets more and more experimental as the days go on until on 25 December when the gift reaches a climax.
Describing the calendar on their website, Boots wrote: “Much more exciting than chocolate, this advent calendar is bursting with toys, gifts, games and light bondage pieces, just waiting to be played with.
“Open each mystery door in the morning for a dawn delight, or save the excitement for a far-from-silent night in.”
The calendar is made in collaboration with LoveHoney, a sex toy website, who have previously admitted that sales of their products during the lockdown have soared.
A spokesman for the company explained: “The pandemic has sparked the biggest boom in sex toy sales since the explosion of interest after Fifty Shades of Grey first came out eight years ago.
“We have seen a major shift in bedroom behaviour in the last six months with lots of new customers coming to the market for the first time and looking to experiment with sex toys.”
