A female powerlifter has unveiled her enviable weight loss transformation after hitting the gym and getting more muscular.
The fitness fanatic, who uploaded the video on TikTok under the username @kaileecarrrr, is 5’1″ and weighed 12st 5lbs (175lbs) when she first started out but slimmed down to 8st (120lbs) after weeks of intense training and a new diet.
In the video montage, she shows her “before body” at her maximum weight and then a series of clips where she is training at the gym, including impressive deadlifts.
She then shows off various selfies that flaunt her rock-hard abs and impressive biceps and a picture of herself wearing a tight black dress while flexing.
In the caption, Kailee, from Illinois, US, wrote: “Unpopular opinion: Strength training > media’s diet trends.”
Unsurprisingly, the video has been branded “inspiring” and received more than half a million “likes” on the video-sharing app and thousands of appreciative comments.
A supporter wrote: “The fact you were so confident in the beginning just shows how much more confident in yourself you are right now.
“Good for you girl!”
A second viewer gushed: “One of my favourite things I have ever seen you’re clearly not starving yourself and you look so strong and happy.”
“You look so much happier and more confident! You’re stunning, girl,” commented a third impressed fitness fan.
Someone else wrote: “She was a queen before and now she’s a strong queen.”
As a competitive powerlifter, Kailee has an impressive legion of fans on her Instagram and TikTok accounts and often shared tips with people just starting out.
In another clip, she gave insight into her meal planning which is largely based on fresh fruit and vegetables and low-fat high-protein meat like shredded turkey.
This comes after a female powerlifter furiously claimed she was told to leave the gym because her outfit was “too revealing” and distracting to teenage boys.
