Coronation Street has dropped a major hint that evil Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) will meet a grisly end in upcoming scenes.
Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) was pushed to breaking point this week and ended up waving a broken glass wine bottle at evil Geoff’s face on Wendesday.
Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) popped around to Geoff’s house during Friday’s visit to Weatherfield to pick up her jacket and the horrible radio presenter couldn’t wait to paint Alya in a bad light to his granddaughter.
The schoolgirl asked Geoff how he was doing and the evil grandfather told her that he would end up in an “early grave” if his feud with his business partner carried on.
Geoff told Faye: “I’m not ok thanks to my delightful co-worker Alya.
“She only went berserk and tried to smash up the restaurant. She’s off her trolley like her grandmother.”
“Who has had a heart attack,” Faye reminded her grandad.
Geoff added: “Thank you I am aware of that.”
Faye went on to ask Geoff if Alya was alright which pushed the evil manipulator over the edge.
He ranted: “I don’t know and I don’t care. I’ve had enough of her and her family trying to turn everyone against me, even my own son.”
Wondering what was going on with her dad Tim (Joe Duttine), Faye asked: “What do you mean?”
Geoff added: “He kept asking me if I had done anything to provoke her.”
“And had you?” Faye wondered.
He furiously replied: “Terrific now you’re on her side as well.
“All this stress has put years on me. If this carries on I’ll be heading for an early grave, never mind Yasmeen.”
Coronation Street fans have been begging bosses to kill off Geoff over his coercive behaviour towards his vulnerable wife Yasmeen, who he manipulated and abused for months.
Geoff continued to play the victim during Friday’s instalment of the ITV soap but the tables started to turn when Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) told Tim that Geoff had been undermining Alya for months.
With the pieces starting to fall into place, Tim started to wonder if his dad is actually as innocent as he is making out.
Has Geoff’s evil plan finally caught up with him?
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV at 7.30pm
