Linda and Anne Nolan are battling cancer at the same time, it has been revealed.
Sisters Linda and Anne were part of the pop group The Nolans, along with sisters Bernie and Coleen, and they’re fighting the same disease which killed their sister Bernie, aged 52, seven years ago.
Recently, Linda, 61, and Anne, 69, were filming fun-loving TV series The Nolans Go Cruising, with their sisters Coleen and Maureen, but upon their return they were diagnosed with cancer, within days of one another.

Thinking back to the heartbreaking moment, Linda told The Sun: “We laughed and we cried really. It’s hysterical.
“Forget the Chemical Brothers, we’ve become the Chemo Sisters.”
The sisters have now lost their hair amid chemotherapy, which they have each received a round of at Blackpool’s Victoria Hospital.
Linda has been diagnosed with incurable cancer in her liver, and previously battled breast cancer in 2006, cellulitis and lymphoedema in her arm in 2007 and cancer on her pelvis in 2017.
Anne, 69, has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.

“I don’t want to die. I love my life so much,” Anne tearfully told The Sun. She continued: “I love my daughters, my grandchildren, my friends, all my family. I want to live for as long as I possibly can.
“I am scared of dying as well. Even though I believe in God, I’m still scared.”
And an emotional Linda added, through tears: “It’s just really hard and I’m scared of dying. I don’t want to die.
“I want to be around and see my great nieces and nephews grow up, and that’s why I’m putting everything I’ve got into trying to get well.”

Linda said of her diagnoses: “I thought my scans would just be fine as they normally are. On May 7 our sister Maureen called me at 10am to say that Anne’s breast cancer had been confirmed.
“Then half an hour later my oncologist’s secretary phoned me to say, ‘We need you to have an MRI scan because we’ve seen something on your liver’.
“I couldn’t tell anyone then because they were so obviously devastated about Anne.
“I thought, ‘I can’t turn around now and say, ‘Actually I’ve got it back as well’.”
Maureen Nolan has now moved in with Anne to take care of her, while Linda is staying at Denise’s house.
