Ben Shephard has shown off his rippling biceps as he transformed into a muscle-bound hunk while at the gym.
The Good Morning Britain star took to his official Instagram account to share some snaps of him working out back at the gym after they opened a few weeks back, following being shut down for some time as a result of the coronavirus lockdown.
Posing up a storm in a grey T-shirt, Ben flexed his muscles as he grabbed on to a piece of gym equipment and began lifting his body up and down above the bar.
Donning a pair of red shorts and socks, Ben looked as if he was in discomfort.
Proving he was, he wrote over the snap: “No idea what these are but they hurt,” followed by the sad and embarrassed emojis.
In another snap, he posed with his personal trainer as Ben looked as if he was taking a deep breath behind his trainer.
His trainer shared the snap on his own Instagram account, writing over it: “Another top session today buddy.”
It comes after Ben recently admitted that his wife Annie doesn’t want him to do Strictly because she’s worried of an “affair”.
The 45-year-old star was chatting to Andi Peters, who is filling in for Lorraine Kelly on her ITV talk show, about the new series of Tipping Point.
Like the rest of the television industry, production of the eleventh series of the ITV quiz show was halted in March due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
After showing off the brand new socially-distanced Tipping Point set live on location in Bristol, conversation quickly turned to Strictly Come Dancing.
Ben said: “Andi, I would love to do Strictly.
“I’ve got a degree in dance. I studied it for three years but it doesn’t make me a good dancer.
“My wife Annie really doesn’t want me to Strictly. She doesn’t want me to have an affair.
“I do love a bit of spangle and glamour on a Saturday night.”
