Notting Hill’s carnival spirit will be full swing this weekend at its first ever virtual event.
Beyonce’s designer Melissa Simon-Hartman has created bright and bold costumes.
Telly chef Levi Roots will be cooking up a storm and award winning Brazilian band Batala will perform.

And for a sneak preview of what we can expect, Samsung and Notting Hill Carnival 2020: Access All Areas have released a trailer capturing the essence of what the virtual event will offer.
It has been created by Samsung to showcase its unrivalled 8K technology, bringing to life all the “Colours of the Carnival” in glorious detail.
Featuring content from the Access All Areas’ digital schedule, it include performances from percussionists, steel drums, dancers and parades intercut with extracts from a series of mini films shot in 8K.
You will see Levi Roots cooking up a Carnival-inspired feast, a Brazilian samba-reggae band, and Soca dancers featuring the incredible costumes of London-based designer Melissa Simon-Hartman, who designed pieces for Beyonce’s Black is King visual album.
