“An immense amount of work has gone into this live compilation from our brilliant team.
“The tracks have been chosen from our shows literally all around the world over the last few years – and the vision and sound mixes perfected and blended to make a seamless one-off dream QAL show.
“I’m personally excited to see how this grabs you folks. It’s quite a trip.”
He also revealed his highlight from the album and, indeed, the last seven years.
Queen and Adam Lambert joined a superstar lineup in Sydney on February 16 this year.
The concert was in aid of all the communities and emergency service workers who had battled the extraordinary blazes across the continent.
For the first time ever, Brian May and the band recreated the entire 22-minute Live Aid set, right down to Lambert bringing Freddie Mercury’s famous Ay-Oh calls to the crowd.
Queen and Adam Lambert have performed over 200 shows since they started this collaboration soon after Brian May and Roger Taylor spotted Lambert competing on American Idol.
An idea was born which came to full fruition last year when they embarked on the huge Rhapsody Tour.
After selling out stadiums across North America, Australasia and Asia, the tour was supposed to finish its run in Europe this Spring and Summer.
The global pandemic halted plans, but the 27 dates are currently rescheduled for 2021.
