Xbox Gold subscribers can download and play another couple of classic games for free, but only for a limited time. As a special bonus heading into the weekend, Xbox Gold subscribers can take advantage of Microsoft’s returning Free Play Days promotion. After a brief hiatus, the Free Play Days returns with two new downloads, including one absolute classic from Electronic Arts. Available to download from now until 7.59am BST on July 13, Xbox One owners can grab The Sims 4 and Citadel: Forged with Fire.
The only drawback is that you have to be a Xbox Gold subscriber in order to take advantage of the deal.
If you are an Xbox Gold subscriber and want to continue playing after the Free Play Days trial comes to an end, you can purchase the full games at discounted prices.
“Want to keep the fun going?” reads a Microsoft post. “Then purchase the games and other editions at a limited time discount and continue playing while keeping your Gamerscore and earned achievements during the event!”
UK customers can pick up The Sims 4 Standard Edition for just £13.99, or the Deluxe Party Edition for £17.99.
All of the game’s expansions are also available at discounted prices, including the Vampires Pack, the Island Living Pack and the Dogs and Cats Bundle.
Elsewhere, Citadel: Forged with Fire is also available at a discounted price of just £13.39.
The game is described as a fantasy sandbox, where players must tame legendary beasts and build unique castles.
