The Prince George effect definitely seems to be a thing, with the little one selling out clothes in record times, from dungarees to dressing gowns, after he’s been pictured in them.
And the little royal, who recently celebrated his seventh birthday, has quickly become one of Britain’s best dressed toddlers with his outfits and so, without further ado, here’s a look at George’s most stylish looks…
When he donned a festive top
George looked jolly in a festive knit top for official Christmas photos back in 2014.
The adorable little chap wore a guardsman motif by well-known British label Cath Kidston, which was already sold out online before the photos appeared.
The brand then restocked the style, as shoppers rushed to eBay to get their hands on it.
When he was Prince William’s mini-me
Little George looked exactly like father Prince William at Prince Harry’s wedding in May of 2018.
The little man boasted a boys’ version of the iconic Blues and Royals uniform as he carried out his role as page boy.
When he wore a pair of statement shorts
George donned some bold red shorts and a white shirt with red stitched patterns as he attended his sister Charlotte’s christening.
An even more adorable aspect is that Prince George’s outfit matches that of Prince William’s when he was a young boy.
When he recycled an outfit
Prince George copied mum Kate Middleton’s trick of recycling clothes at the 2017 Trooping the Colour celebrations, where little George dressed in a light blue romper suit which was originally worn by Prince William for his bother Harry’s christening in 1984 – too cute!
When he celebrated his third birthday
Celebrating his third birthday, Prince George donned a striped whale print jumper and some taupe shorts from boutique Pepa & Company, and he looked as sweet as ever.
When he sported a plaid shirt
Prince George took Poland by storm during a tour with his family in 2017. The youngster sported a plaid button-down shirt and navy blue shorts and some very smart black shoes too.
When he dressed down to meet Barack Obama
If you’re Prince George and you’re about to meet the President of the United States of America, what do you wear? A dressing gown, of course!
The adorable tot donned a casual dressing gown by My First Years to meet the pair and the towel robe ended up selling out in a matter of hours.
When he donned dungarees
Little George donned dungarees in a stunning pink shade as he and Kate Middleton enjoyed a day out.
The Neck & Neck romper suit, initially priced at £24.99, sold out in less than 24 hours.
When he celebrated his seventh birthday
Kate and Will released two new adorable photographs of their son Prince George to celebrate his seventh birthday.
And all eyes were on the youngster’s super stylish attire in the photos, which appear to be a nod towards the family’s military association, including his khaki polo shirt which we’re sure will become a trend following the little prince wearing it.
The top comes with a very purse-friendly price tag of £7.99 and it’s available to buy at Mango – hurrah!
However if the Prince George effect is anything to go by, his top will be flying off shelves in no time so think fast if you’re planning on popping one in your basket.
Described simply as a cotton polo shirt, the number comes in an array of shades, from khaki to indigo blue and it’s still available in a handful of sizes, although not all.
The shirt is made from cotton fabric and features a classic collar, sling back and short sleeves and we’re sure it’ll have your tot looking as cute as George in no time.
