One Direction have finally broken their two-year silence.
The band tweeted a cryptic tweet to their 30.5million followers today.
They teased their is some big news coming on Thursday, tweeting: : “Tomorrow! You and me got a whole lot of history #10YearsOf1D”
This read: “Tomorrow! You and me got a whole lot of history #10YearsOf1D”
The band also shared a picture that said “10 years of One Direction” on a plain black background.
The last tweet from the band was back in July 2018.
On July 23rd it will be ten years to the day that the band were formed.
1D fans have been wanting a reunion for some time but it seems there are no plans for this yet.
It was confirmed earlier this week that the band will mark their anniversary with a brand new website and a 10-year celebration video especially made for their fans.
Fans went into meltdown over the post from the band.
One wrote: “Get in losers, we’re going screaming.”
While another added: “We’re not calm, oh my God.”
A third chimed in: “This will easily be the best week of 2020.”
The group are made up of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, while Zayn Malik is a former member – departing from the group in 2015.
The group signed with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Records after forming and finishing third in the seventh series of The X Factor in 2010.
They’re known for hits such as Best Song Ever and Story of My Life.
